Same problem here, I've not had time to contact Christian yet, and I wasn't sure whether it was just me... have you emailed? Posted by: Richard Leggett at June 10, 2005 04:20 AMI had the same problem.. I emailed them and got it fixed pretty quickly.. I still had no idea why it happened. Posted by: John at June 10, 2005 05:45 AMNo, not yet. I was wondering before hassling them if it was my side. Seems that it isn't. ho hum.. the Goog still loves us though :D I've never had to contact them to "reinitialize" our feed. Posted by: Graeme Bull at June 10, 2005 06:15 AMGraeme, first, your feed is not validating: http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.sti-media.com%2Fblog%2Findex.rdf but i dont think that is what the problem is. For some reason, when MXNA tries to retrieve your feed, it times out. We are looking into this. btw, if you have a problem like this in the future, make sure to email us at mxna@macromedia.com (otherwise we might not see it). Also, I am not sure why you would assume you were banned... or even snubbed by us. Its just a technical issue, and when we find out about them, we work on fixing them. mike chambers mesh@macromedia.com Posted by: mike chambers at June 11, 2005 10:12 AMItrs working now. (restarting the server fixed it). Any chance that your site changed it DNS any time recently? Sometimes that will get cached by the server. Anyways, if you have problems in the future, make sure to email mxna@macromedia.com, so we can look into it. mike chambers mesh@macromedia.com Posted by: mike chambers at June 11, 2005 10:17 AMThanks Mike. I'm not sure you got my email, but my thanks is in there too :) Not sure about the DNS actually.. I'll make sure to mail next time something comes up. thanks again Hi Grahame, The DNS thing happened to us last year with MXNA after our site was moved to another server. BTW sorry to hear about your trouble with ColdFusion - probably too late but we've helped other Japanese customers with their Macromedia server product purchases when they got stuck, and we can offer support with escalation to Macromedia in your timezone.
