Flash video will support alpha! That's great but...

Why is the video that is about it, on Colin Moock's video on his blog, in wmv?? Doesn't that seem odd?...

Sure, but I'm pretty sure Colin used a device that records straight to WMV. Recompressing that to Flash video would look even less beautiful? Just guessing of course...

I'm guessing the same too as most vid cams nowadays do that. But still... it just seems so backwards and in a way proves that it's easier to use another form of vid I guess. Maybe MM will look into having video cameras render vid out to flash one day. who knows right :)

it's because i suck at video :) and i was in a massive rush to get the thing up before i left for the weekend. i'll try to put up a nice big fat mpeg later this week. (btw, i recorded the video on a sony hc-40, which captures to mini-dv tape. i used windows movie maker to produce the .wmv. i told you i suck ;)
